The idea

TREE was initially developed by Emma and me back in 2021.  With our very different but extremely complementary skill sets, we felt that we were onto something special.  After a positive discussion with someone at The Judge Business School, we knew we were onto something special.  So why didn’t we launch then?  Mostly it was down to lack of both confidence and financial security.  In the past four years, Emma and I have grown, learned, trained and developed ourselves (and banked an extra 4 years’ of savings) and with that we have not only reignited TREE, but we’ve grown it (pun intended!)

Emma comes from a career in the NHS where pressure is constant and resilience isn’t optional.  She has worked across multiple sectors and holds qualifications in psychology, coaching and mentoring.  Emma has a huge amount of experience in change management and improvement science.  I come from the corporate world, navigating boardrooms where profit is the bottom line and there is relentless drive for growth.   I have been involved in growing businesses from scratch both in well-funded and bootstrapped scenarios, and through my many years of R&D, sales, marketing and business development roles, I came to realise that it was this business growth that is my true passion.

TREE brings together all of this and is more than the sum of our experience.  We combine the compassion, coaching and human side of leadership with true strategy and business experience.  Our aim is to train, coach and support Founders and their leadership teams as well as providing valuable business insight and networking.  With our support, Founders will achieve long term sustainable growth both for their businesses and for themselves.
